Erich Grotheer attended Seneca College in Graphic Design from 1995 - 1998, where he successfully achieved his Design Arts diploma. He has worked for several different software companies including Valadeo Technologies, Arcaneo, and, most recently, Omnivex Corporation.
While at Valadeo he learned a lot about website design and maintenance, and created website templates for clients of Valadeo to use. At Arcaneo he worked on their website both designing and maintaining it. He also designed their corporate branding and marketing material. Erich had his longest stint as a designer at Omnivex Corporation. While there he designed and maintained their website as well as designed marketing collateral and trade show booth signage. Erich designed key digital signage content and sales presentation materials for Omnivex' partners and customers including the Toronto Stock Exchange, the Air Canada Centre, Portland Trailblazers, Bell Canada and Canada's Wonderland. These accounts were landed as a direct result of the dynamic content Erich designed. He also developed GUI elements for Omnivex' various software products, ensuring that they were user-friendly and easily recognizable.
In his role as Graphic Designer he interacted with all of the other departments in the company and developed a rapport both with other staff members and customers who relied on his graphical skills. His core technical competencies are HTML, CSS, Flash, PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Quark Xpress.
